Technology has modified human behavior by creating a gap between people and reducing their intimacy. It has seriously impacted on wellbeing and mindfulness and there is need for a balance.

 Communication is the act of conveying intended meanings from one entity or group to another through the use of mutually understood signs , statements and semiotic rules. Human communication is unique for its extensive use of abstract language. Development of civilization are fundamentally linked with communication. All successful individuals have one thing in common . They are very articulate, tenacious and persuasive with tremednous mastery of written and spoken english (language). They also have very good understanding of personal and inter personal dynamics which underplays in all communications

 Attitude is defined as the mental position that represents an individual’s degree of like or dislike for an item – a generally positive or negative view of a person, place, thing, or event. A positive attitude is, therefore, the inclination to generally be in an optimistic, hopeful state of mind. However, attitudes are expected to change as a function of experience – so someone with a typically negative attitude can change! Overall, people with a positive attitude are optimists and believe they are accountable for good things and that good things will generally come their way.

5. Creativity and Innovation

A crucial trait to adjust to new Normals 

Creativity is the capability or act of conceiving something original or unusual. Innovation is the implementation of something new. Invention is the creation of something that has never been made before and is recognized as the product of some unique insight. The Force majeure condition of Covid 19 will draw on this skill and quality of individuals to adjust to the new Normals.

Self-confidence is our basic foundation on which we interact
with the world. “Never bend your head. Always hold it high.
Look the world straight in the face.” “Whatever we expect
with confidence becomes our own self-fulfilling prophecy.”
“Confidence is courage at ease.” “Having once decided to
achieve a certain task, achieve it, at all costs of tedium and
distaste. The gain in self-confidence of having accomplished
a tiresome labour is immense.” “Nothing builds self-esteem
and self-confidence like accomplishment.” “Inaction breeds
doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If
you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about
it. Go out and get busy.” “The way to develop self confidence is to do the thing you fear”.

Stress management refers to the wide spectrum of techniques and psychotherapies aimed at controlling a person’s levels of stress, especially chronic stress, usually for the purpose of improving everyday functioning Stress produces numerous physical and mental symptoms which vary according to each individual’s situational factors. These can include physical health decline as well as depression. The process of stress management is named as one of the keys to a happy and successful life in modern society. Although life provides numerous demands that can prove difficult to handle, stress management provides a number of ways to manage anxiety and maintain overall well-being.

8. Quantitative, Verbal, and Analytical Skills

Very Crucial Skill sets 

These skills help in building the ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize or solve both complex and uncomplicated problems by making decisions that are sensible given the available information. Such skills include demonstration of the ability to apply logical thinking to breaking complex problems into their component parts. The multidimensional analysis using Quantitative, Analytical and Verbal skills is very effective in resolution of many real life problems.

9. Diversity in Culture

Strengthens organisational 

Core Cultural diversity is the quality of diverse or different cultures. It also refers to having different cultures respect each other’s differences. The phrase “cultural diversity” is also sometimes used to mean the variety of human societies or cultures in a specific region, or in the world as a whole. Globalization in companies necessitates that colleagues work together without passing value judgements on different cultures and languages. In fact, diversity in cultures enriches the resource base and different perspectives in teams.

10. Ethics & Values

Define the Character of Organisation

Values must protect life and are dignity for self and the
fellow human beings. The great moral values, such as
truth, freedom, charity, etc., have one thing in common.
When they are functioning correctly, they are life
protecting or life enhancing for all. Being ethical is an
imperative because morality protects life and is respectful
of others – all others. It is a lifestyle that is consistent with
mankind’s universal values of human equality and
inalienable right to life. In organisations employees
conforming to such paradigms of ethics and values are
preferred as they are far more productive and are able to
successfully build teams and achieve goals.

11. Quality

A way of life

Quality management is the act of overseeing all
activities and tasks that must be accomplished to
maintain a desired level of excellence. This includes
the determination of a quality policy, creating and
implementing quality planning and assurance, and
quality control and quality improvement. Quality is a
way of life which should be adopted at individual and
organisational level.
